Configuración de E/S y actualización de firmware a través del bus de campo
Concentrador integrado para un cableado económico
El controlador de bus permite conectar nodos X2X Link I/O a POWERLINK. También es posible operar el ciclo X2X Link de forma síncrona 1:1 o síncrona con POWERLINK utilizando un preescalador.
POWERLINK es un protocolo estándar para Fast Ethernet equipado con características estrictas de tiempo real. El grupo de estandarización POWERLINK (EPSG) garantiza que el estándar permanezca abierto y se desarrolle continuamente: www.ethernet-powerlink.org.
